Volunteer
Our volunteers are the heart and soul of Transformation Church. The Pastor’s and the people partner together to accomplish our mission of helping people far from God become fully devoted follower of Jesus. At TC we have created a culture of service where the congregation are contributors and not just consumers. We give our regular attenders the opportunity to get involved immediately in one of our Service Teams. We believe that God gives everyone gifts and talents to use not only outside the local church but inside the local church. We desire to see everyone use those gifts and mature in faith.
Service Teams
The objective of our Service Teams is to welcome the guests God has prompted our way with Biblical hospitality. Service Teams exist to make sure guests are greeted, treated, directed, and seated. Our Service Teams include Ushers, Greeters, and Hospitality.
Usher
An usher should be willing to provide first-class service to our guests. Opening doors, greeting and speaking to guests, giving directions to guests, and provide escorts to guests if necessary. Distribute and collect offering buckets and distribute and collect communion.
Greeter
A greeter is one of the first people our guests come into contact with. Greeters should be ready to welcome guests with a warm smile and friendly attitude.
Hospitality
A hospitality team member assists in providing fresh coffee and a light treats to our guests. Providing these refreshments show our guests that we care about them visiting us, just as if they had visited a good friend or family member
Getting involved at Transformation Church begins by volunteering on a Service Team. This is the entry point for ministry at our church. Once you register to volunteer, our volunteer coordinator will get in touch with you to discuss with you what area you would like to serve in and put you on the schedule to begin volunteering once per month. Children
Children are God’s greatest creations and we are looking for fun and energetic mentors to work with our children. We are in need of Lead Teachers and assistants for all age groups including Nursery, Preschool, Kindergarten, and Elementary, as well as individuals to assist with our Elementary Kids Service. If you want to make a difference in the life of a child, sign up today.
Office Support
We are looking for some positive, organized, team players to volunteer in the Church Office a few hours per week. Some of the needs are with filing, data entry, answering phones, putting programs, and gift bags together. Office hours are Monday – Thursday from 9am – 230pm.
